"<< Background >>The widening gap between education and employment, exacerbated by varying unemployment rates among youth, reflects systemic failures in providing quality education and decent job opportunities. This discrepancy, linked to the aftermath of the economic crisis, poses significant societal burdens. Despite a rise in graduates with formal qualifications, many face poor job prospects, leading to high youth unemployment rates.Recognizing the prevalent skills deficit and mismatch as major obstacles to youth professional development, the ""The Young Entrepreneurs Guild"" project idea was made up. It aimed to cultivate entrepreneurial potential and creativity among young people, offering specific pathways to address youth unemployment. Through targeted interventions, the project aimed to equip youths with the skills and resources necessary for entrepreneurial success in today's dynamic economic landscape.Ultimately, the project sought to empower Europe's youth as agents of positive change, fostering innovation and resilience in society.<< Objectives >>The project sought to promote cross-sectorial partnerships and international cooperation by connecting NGOs with educational institutions and other providers. It aimed to improve education, training, and youth initiatives. To tackle the challenges, the project outlined objectives:- Promoting entrepreneurial ideas through extracurricular activities to enhance innovation capacity among potential youth entrepreneurs.- Integrating innovative entrepreneurship approaches into education to foster entrepreneurial awareness and behaviour.- Encouraging youth participation in entrepreneurial education to cultivate mindsets and engagement in entrepreneurship.- Cultivating an innovative and market-oriented entrepreneurial spirit among young people.- Demonstrating the benefits of multidisciplinary educational approaches with a ""Training guide on entrepreneurial leadership, management, and youth entrepreneurship.""- Developing a cross-sectorial system to promote entrepreneurial learning through non-formal education and direct involvement in entrepreneurial activities.<< Implementation >>The 24-month project combined local activities with international learning mobility opportunities for youth workers, staff members, and youth as direct target groups. It involved six partner institutions from 6 European countries. Additionally, the project created three tangible deliverables:- A Training Module on entrepreneurial leadership and management- A Training Guide on entrepreneurial leadership, management, and youth entrepreneurship- The ONLINE GUILD ENTREPRENEURSHIP platformThe project also organized three transnational partner meetings and five local dissemination events in the partner countries. At the end of the project, a Final Dissemination conference in Poland was held, inviting local stake holders, young people and also international guests from all partner organizations.Among the local activities, the project planned cooperation with local young entrepreneurs who shared best practices with the partner entities for output creation and further learning mobility activities with youth. Associated partners were also engaged in cooperation through various presentations and follow-up actions.By aggregating their experience, knowledge, and competencies, a powerful insight and constellation of resources were procured since the project worked on a transnational issue which needed to be addressed nationally and at the European level.<< Results >>As a result, the project contributed to the development of wider knowledge-based youth societies in the partner countries, helped overcome skill mismatches through the creation of tailored entrepreneurship education opportunities, and stimulated youth insertion into the labor market by engaging in alternative learning paths, creative thinking, and exploration of entrepreneurial insights. The project operated a steady multi-stakeholder partnership and delivered added value at the European level in three performance areas:- Network building- Fostering mutual learning and harmonization in and beyond Europe- Pooling international resources to provide greater scope and outreach of the results achieved. The project proposal also represented the next phase of development of youth support and institutions' capability to meet the needs of the youth community for quality knowledge and career pathway opportunities. It supported reciprocal relationships and cross-sectoral collaboration to bring a focused range of educational and training services and relevant career development opportunities. It also provided an opportunity for partners to collaborate by merging their priorities with those of the involved regions, accelerating the link with institutions and businesses, and implementing new educational strategies. Additionally, sharing knowledge allowed partners to translate the results into new models and guidelines appropriate for their local conditions.Partners believe that the project's long-term results would achieve strong and visible positive impacts across Europe and beyond, serving as a prerequisite to combat youth unemployment, early school leaving, and other issues that tend to occupy high positions within the EU Agenda."
