<< Background >>We applied for this project in order to build and implement the STEAM approach to partners’ educational programmes, to increase the knowledge and skills about the energy efficiency, as well as to strengthen the international collaboration between schools and educating institutions. When it comes to the needs of the target groups, we aimed at responding to the challenges of three target groups: teachers, kids and local authorities. Teachers in their daily activity had the need to strengthen the STEAM approach and give pupils the possibility of developing STEAM skills. According to the school headteachers their employees had no tools, or knowledge in a successful implementation of programmes supporting STEAM in climate change. Through the participation in the Erasmus project for the first time, they learned how this model works, and they were ready to submit another application in the following round. They learnt about the cultural experiences between regions. The second need of the project was to increase kids awareness about the climate change consequences and their abilities to combat it. Before the project has started kids were tested about their knowledge about the energy efficient housing renovations.<< Objectives >>The objective of the ComfyHouse project was to develop and implement an innovative, tailored-made educational programme for teachers and pupils based on STEAM approach that would increase kids’ understanding of the renovation of houses for their energy efficiency purposes. The overall objective was in line with the European Green Deal Strategy. << Implementation >>The following activities were timely implemented during the project:-The organization of the study visit in Romania-The need analyses among teachers and students has been performed-The creation and the preparation of the educational programme on how to make a house energy efficient: the 50 pages handbook available in three languages and 6 classess scenarios and Ebooks based on STEAM approach in three languages-The educational programme was implemented in schools-The exhibition has been organized-The comfy house innovative pedagogy guideline has been prepared-The final project meeting in Lithuania has been organized. All the information are available on the project website: https://www.aksantys.com/comfy-house-innovative-pedagogies-for-sustainable-building-renovations/ In total there were 2 680 entrances on the website.<< Results >>The following outputs are publicly available on the website:-The need analysis-The educational programme consisting on 50 pages handbook in 3 languages and 6 classes scenarios and ebooks in three languages-The ComfyHouse innovative pedagogyAll the materials and outputs were created and they were very helpful in resolving the identified challenge.
