<< Background >>The project responded to a vital social need in the European Union countries - the ageing of societies. The ageing of the population is one of the most important demographic and social trends of the 21st century. Although it is a global phenomenon, it is particularly pronounced in European countries. Older people talk about health in a holistic way, combining both mental and physical aspects. In this sense, Emotional Intelligence, which was main subject in the project, is one of the strengths that, in balance, make up a valuable and self-confident person, both on a personal level and in relationships with the people around them. << Objectives >>The activities carried out in the project aimed to help older people and their caregivers cope with the new stage they are facing, as well as with the changes that occur in the lives.
