<< Objectives >>Project focus on the problem of eco-anxiety where young people feel hopeless about the future, or powerless in the face of climate change. Project objective is to strengthen capacities of youth workers to help young people in dealing with eco-anxiety while at the same time empowering them in developing ideas and actions to make changes positive for the environment, society and economy. Partners from Croatia, Greece, Italy and Slovenia will develop innovative education program, methods and tools.<< Implementation >>Main project activities are: 1) Collecting best practices and developing questionnaire for measurement of eco anxiety, creating guidelines for youth on how to recognize and reduce anxiety and Creating innovative methodology for youth workers, new resources available online in 5 languages, TtT program 2) Train youth workers, piloting developed methods in International Youth Eco-camp in Greece and in organizing local youth eco-actions in each country, 4) Dissemination.<< Results >>Expected project results are: 5 organizations in 4 countries increased capacities to train youth workers to nurture youth wellbeing, mental health and their sense of initiative in the climate crisis, 50 youth workers participated in training for innovation in working with youth, 100 young people participated in program and initiated actions to make positive changes for the environment. Dissemination activities increased the number of youth workers familiar with new methods and resources.
