For both: personal growth and communication skills Tangible results: Development of an inspiration guide for colleagues, creation of a picture book about the project, conception and creation of a cookbook by students, development of a high-quality logo for the school garden, initiation of new (NMG: Hafenkäserei, HHH: Campus Korso) and maintenance of old (NMG: Kreissparkasse Steinfurt, Gemüseackerdemie, HHH: Wikke, Hall 5) strategic partnerships, development of a guide for the development of a school garden and a student community (HHH), construction of a mobile sales stand (NMG) and a sustainable irrigation system (NMG). << Objectives >>Implement knowledge and activities concerning the SDG’s into our education for our students Expand the teaching skills of our teachers with a focus on didactics and methodologies regarding SD Develop activities to promote healthy lifestyles and entrepreneurial skills in our students Develop internal, interdisciplinary and inclusive curricula concerning SD. Integration of the school garden as a place of learning and interdisciplinary topics into the curriculum for grades 5-7 and in particular special needs pupils of German colleagues (NMG). Knowledge transfer and development impulses of the respective expert location in the area of school gardens (HHH) and the operation of school cafés (NMG) for further development, integration into everyday school life, development of local, extracurricular strategic partnerships (both). << Implementation >>The project was planned and the processes were evaluated as part of the teacher meetings. Together, sustainability-related teaching materials (Inspiration Guide) were developed and presented in lessons and teacher training courses. Also possibilities for curricular integration were explored and decided upon, for example for the subject of home economics (NMG). During 4 exchange weeks we organized a number of hands-on activities with our students, amongst others joint sales activities, healthy cooking workshops and gardening sessions. We also had several expert speakers and visited companies focused on circular economy. We developed action plans for our own school to further integrate SD initiatives and we developed a number of lesson plans. Growing methods were taught through joint work assignments in the school garden. Craftsmanship skills were addressed and developed in the planning and drawing as well as structural realisation (e.g. of a chair). Individual, social and group-related skills were trained as part of team-building measures (e.g. Draußenzeit). Communication and negotiation skills were developed as part of contract negotiations in the area of strategic partnerships and product deliveries (e.g. Hafenkäserei). << Results >>Non-tangible results: Increased skills of our students in languages, entrepreneurship and participation.
