<< Objectives >>The general objective is to engage more people in making their communities more sustainable and resilient to the challenges of climate change, specifically through inclusive and low threshold events like the Climathon. Specific objectives include the training of enablers who will have access to the methods and knowledge base, will have developed their skills in management and facilitation, gained hands-on experience with Climathons, and participate in sharing of good practice.<< Implementation >>Training tailored to national contexts and adapted to local stakeholder’s needs will be delivered to 30 participants. The trained enablers will be supported in organising a Climathon. The partnering organisation can count on a total of 12 Climathons. A handbook gathering the know-how, tips how to organise Climathons, and examples of good practice will be created. An essential part of the project is national and international sharing of project results, both in-person and online.<< Results >>The project results include (1) up to 30 participants trained in organising a Climathon, (2) up to 12 Climathons organised, (3) a freely available Handbook “Climate action - now” created, and (4) up to 180 participants involved in multiplication activities. All results will be shared with the wider public through social media and other communication channels.
