<< Objectives >>MedNet4YA aims at creating a network working on youth drug addictions and social reintegration. Objectives include transnational cooperation to combat youth addictions, inclusion of target groups with fewer opportunities and increasing EU awareness of the link between migration and addictions. MedNet, through capacity building and sharing of best practices, will allow partners to improve the quality of their work and services, and to broaden their scope of work by learning from each other.<< Implementation >>Activities include specific capacity building actions like online training and in-person exchanges for partners, together with transversal activities of project coordination. An online communication campaign will be implemented to promote the project, while a final manual will be produced, containing the achieved results and suggestions for further development. It will be disseminated through a final online event, with the aim of influencing other EU networks and policymakers.<< Results >>MedNet will enhance knowledge and skills of 15 youth workers and staff from partner organizations, and therefore provide more effective services to young people with addictions. It will broaden the EU networks supporting addiction recovery and reintegration of youth, focusing on migratory contexts, and will set the basis for more inclusive European dialogue and policy making. The achieved results will inspire other organizations to join this network or create new ones working on the same topics.
