A Seat At The Table - Democratic participation of youth with disabilities

<< Objectives >>The overall objective is to strengthen the democratic participation of youth with disabilities in Denmark andSlovenia. We want to achieve the following objectives: 1. Develop capacity in youth-led organisations to include more youth with disabilities in the democratic structures.2. Develop new methods for inclusion of youth with disabilities in student-led organisations.3. Implement changes and apply the knowledge gained in participating youth-led organisations.<< Implementation >>We will implement trainings for youth and youth workers in Denmark and Slovenia as well as a youth summit where results and learnings will be disseminated to a broader audience. We will develop guidelines with best practices and recommendations to develop more inclusive democratic set-ups for youth-led organisations. Finally, we will disseminate results from the project through communication activities by youth and national communication campaigns targeting youth and other relevant stakeholders.<< Results >>As results of the project we expect increased know-how and tools to include more youth with disabilities in events and activities carried out in youth-led organisations as well as capacity-building on how to develop more inclusive democratic set-ups for youth-led organisations. We expect to implement these changes and apply the knowledge gained in participating youth-led organisations.
