<< Background >>We applied for this project to learn more about the uses of gamification tools in education. Since using the internet, AI and other technology has become a part of our everyday lives, it is important for teachers to be up to date with that wave. We wanted to have other teachers to be involved as well as students, to gain a broad spectrum on what is that we already know and what is to be learnt. Gamification presents a promising avenue through which learning experiences can be enhanced, making education more engaging, interactive, and effective.By participating in this project, we aimed to not only enrich our own understanding of gamification but also to empower fellow educators to leverage these tools in their teaching practices. Moreover, the Erasmus+ project serves as a platform for international collaboration and knowledge exchange. We have been keeping contact with our partners and are all sharing different ideas for our lessons. The needs we addressed were: pedagogical innovation and professional development; students engagement and motivation ; collaborative learning and knowledge exchange. << Objectives >>Our primary aim in implementing the project was to address various challenges and disparities prevalent in education. By integrating the gamification educational approach, we sought to achieve several overarching objectives:Tackling Learning Disadvantage: We aimed to enable success for all students, especially those facing learning disadvantages or fewer opportunities. Through student-centered approaches, we intended to tailor education to the individual needs of each learner, particularly focusing on students with special education needs.Improving Learning Outcomes: By adopting gamification techniques, we aimed to facilitate easier learning for students with learning difficulties. This approach not only prioritizes individualized learning but also encourages active engagement and participation, leading to improved competencies and skills acquisition.Enhancing Educator Competences: By sharing good practices and methodologies, we aimed to equip teachers with the necessary skills to effectively implement gamification strategies in their teaching practices. In alignment with the broader goals of promoting inclusion and diversity in education, our project prioritized students from disadvantaged backgrounds.<< Implementation >>Meeting with Partners in Budapest, Hungary ; Training on Gamification in Amsterdam, The Netherlands; Sharing Experiences in Tartu, Estonia; Sharing Experiences and Training on AI and VR in Romania. Some changes:Change in Project Coordinator: With Estonia as the new coordinator, we adjusted our partnership dynamics accordingly, bringing in a new partner from HungaryVenue Change for Meeting: Due to Turkey's withdrawal, we changed January meeting to HungaryCompensatory Training in Romania: The Netherlands' absence during our Estonia visit led to them sponsoring a training session in Romania, focusing on the intersection of AI, VR, and gamificationPlatform Shift for Output Results: Transitioning from E-twinning to Facebook and InstagramOther activities: Publication of Lesson Plans (E-book) with ISBNLogo Design for Project IdentitySharing results in Participating Schools: Sharing experiences in Estonia, partaking of lessonsOnline MeetingsMonthly to do listsCultural Experiences in Visited CitiesActive Social Media PresenceDevelopment of Learning MaterialsOrganization of a Conference in Romania: attended by 58 local teachersCreation of Posters from Recycled MaterialsCollection of Gamification Feedback and Knowledge<< Results >>Lesson Plans: Our comprehensive, versatile lesson plans span subjects, designed for diverse environments. Published as e-books with ISBNs, they're accessible beyond our partnership, enriching classrooms.Experience Sharing: Sessions in Romania, Estonia, Hungary fostered community, exchanging insights, adapting strategies.Social Media: Utilizing Facebook, Instagram, we engaged educators, students, stakeholders, amplifying project impact, fostering an online community.Sharing Links: Channels for sharing resources enriched our collective knowledge, supporting project implementation.Student Benefits: Through innovative lessons, cultural experiences, gamification, students flourished in creativity, critical thinking, collaboration.Special Needs Inclusion: Tailored activities, inclusive environments ensured all students, including special needs, thrived, promoting empathy, respect.
