Improve knowledge about climate change and the technical, social and structural changes this imply for society at large and its citizen.2. Facilitate peer exchange trough virtual Smart City communities3. Highlight the skills prioritised by the fast-evolving labour market4. Focus on student agency through STEM and skills-based learning<< Implementation >>We will start preparing the young generation for the massive task ahead of them in designing the Net Zero solutions that address climate change while ensuring increased equality and justice for all. To do this, the YSC online platform, and associated knowledge, tools and interactive virtual networks will be designed, delivered and tested by over 900 participants with direct involvement of stakeholders through the application of real-life case studies. YSC is a Platform for and by the youth.<< Results >>We will deliver a high-quality educational tool that facilitate the engagement of the youngest citizen in Smart City solutions. The YSC Portal will include Lesson Plans, Trainings, Contests, Forums, Knowledge Pills, etc. that will help students and teachers codesign solutions to some of the challenges that requires a multidisciplinary approach. It will build skills that are relevant worldwide and support pan-European exchanges and strengthen social cohesion and active citizenship.
