CobotsVETMed: Driving Industry 4.0 in North AfricaCobotsVETMed provides students in Tunisia and Algeria with a strategic advantage by equipping them with Industry 4.0 skills, allowing them to bypass outdated industrial models. By integrating collaborative robots (cobots) into vocational training, the project empowers a new generation of highly skilled workers to lead sustainable manufacturing and digital transformation in the South Mediterranean.The project directly supports workforce upskilling, addressing the urgent need for automation literacy in emerging economies. Through digital learning, industrial automation, and hands-on training, CobotsVETMed fosters youth employability, industrial innovation, and alignment with global green and digital transitions.A consortium of leaders in industrial automation, vocational training, and digital learning ensures success: ASTI, AREA, ISSIG, ENP, ICE, AMTA, and key stakeholders.
