<< Background >>Cultural and creative industries are important for the development of societies and are at the heart of a sustainable innovative economy. Based on knowledge-intensive and individual creativity and talent, they create significant economic wealth. Growth in the cultural and creative industries is above average and they create recruitment opportunities - especially for young people - also fostering social cohesion.Vocational training and faculty programs designed for the Cultural and Creative Industries do not include entrepreneurship, business development and managerial skills. The need to fill the gap of a VET program that includes entrepreneurship and business development techniques in the field of CCIs has prompted the project partners. In addition, a cooperation partnership has been established to support CCIs organizations providing training and to develop VET services. Thanks to the activities to be carried out and the training program to be produced in this direction, an inclusive VET program that is compatible with the sector will be achieved and contribute to the field.<< Objectives >>The main objective of the CreaVET Project was to improve the entrepreneurial skills of young people working in the field of CCIs through an innovative VET programme.
