Vaya Campus - l'école du voyage engagé

<< Objectives >>Vaya campus is a 5-month educational program. Its objective is to support young citizens who wish to product inspiring video reports of their ecological travel experience. We will accompagny them to pool initiatives they met and to promote intercultural exchanges which are a key to collective actions against global warming. Our project also aims to raise public awareness about current social and environmental issues. Its main goal is to encourage the active exercise of European citizenship.<< Implementation >>Vaya Campus is a journey consisting of several training modules to obtain theoretical (ecology, impacts of travel etc) and practical (audiovisual tools for example) skills. To these courses, events will be added to share knowledge and initiatives about inspiring social and ecological subjects. During this program, participants will also have the opportunity to Frankfurt where they will create 5 to 6 videos or podcasts. This is how they will meet actors engaged in social and ecological causes.<< Results >>What we want is : •To organize events involving a diversity of young citizens to inspire initiatives and support their projects. With this goal, our courses will be avalaible in open hearing.•To promote the exercise of European citizenship by creating engaged and slow media, open to local citizens solutions. •To inspire other ways of travelling in our societal contexte which associates travel with leisure and mass consumption while being a vector for powerful imaginaries.
