"<< Objectives >>The SELF-ID project aims to enhance adolescents' digital literacy, critical thinking, and resilience by addressing the impact of digital influences on identity formation, self-image, and self-esteem. It empowers students (ages 10-14) to differentiate between authentic and digital identities and provides teachers with tools to support them. The project fosters positive digital engagement through media literacy, gamification, and co-creation, contributing to well-being and inclusion.<< Implementation >>Key project activities include designing the SELF-ID intervention, which consists of training materials and an ""analogue"" table escape room. These materials will be piloted, evaluated, and finalized based on feedback. National events, such as webinars, a Train-the-Trainer program for teachers, and peer-learning events, will be held to disseminate the results. The project will conclude with a final symposium, bringing together stakeholders from all four countries.<< Results >>The main outcomes of the project include the SELF-ID Training Program Handbook and the SELF-ID Table Escape Room with a user manual. All training materials will be available online in a user-friendly format in English, Slovene, Croatian, Italian, and German for wider impact and further use. Expected long-term benefits include improved digital resilience, stronger identity formation with well-balanced self-image and self-esteem, and a more unified European approach to digital literacy education."
