Climate Knowledge Lab

<< Objectives >>Our project aims to strengthen the capacities of young community leaders, particularly to climate activism, through education, training and exchange of experiences. The project focuses on developing organisational, facilitation and advocacy skills that will enable participants to effectively mobilise their communities and implement climate action at grassroot level. Project outputs will support the sustainable development of local climate initiatives and their engagement in a just transition.<< Implementation >>Within the project, we plan to conduct a range of activities, including an initial design meeting, development of methodologies and key training materials, webinars and extensive training for community leaders to strengthen their skills. A crucial activity is a summer school focused on engaged communities' role in Europe's green transition. Project outcomes will be accessible via a digital platform and supported by an interactive card game aimed at effective community work.<< Results >>Our project will provide training for a group of community leaders who will acquire key skills for effective organisation and mobilisation of their communities. Outcomes will include methodologies, training materials, a series of trainings, an interactive card game and a digital platform for sharing content. For project impacts, we expect to see a strengthening of climate initiatives, broader public engagement in climate action, and long-term use of the outputs in youth community organizing.
