"<< Background >>The ""More Monitoring Action in the EU! (MoMoEU!)"" project was initiated to address a clear gap in training resources for youth workers on integrity education and civic monitoring. Partners observed that traditional methods lacked engagement, especially for youth outside academic settings, and that digital tools for anti-corruption education were scarce. The project targets the growing need for youth engagement in democratic processes and active citizenship, with a focus on monitoring community and institutional integrity. By creating a culture of integrity, MoMoEU! encourages young people to become active monitoring citizens, learning how to hold public institutions accountable and fostering trust in democratic systems. This approach is essential in a digital world where young people are increasingly online and need digital skills for meaningful engagement. The project meets these needs by offering interactive, digital, and non-formal education tools, designed to be accessible to youth, and especially youth workers, across diverse European contexts, in alignment with both national and EU priorities.<< Objectives >>MoMoEU!'s main objective was to empower youth workers with digital tools and innovative educational resources that can inspire young people to actively engage in community-based monitoring and civic action against corruption. By developing digital resources, MoMoEU! aligned with Erasmus+ priorities for digital readiness and civic responsibility among youth. Key objectives included strengthening the collaboration among partner organizations, improving youth workers' capacities to deliver integrity education, and fostering a culture of transparency across borders. Through this project, youth workers gained resources to educate youth on the importance of integrity, how to detect potential conflicts of interest, and how to monitor local and national institutions. The project also supported EU candidate countries in strengthening their civic systems. Ultimately, MoMoEU! aimed to build a network of empowered, digital-savvy youth workers who can independently pursue integrity education and actively contribute to anti-corruption efforts across Europe.<< Implementation >>MoMoEU! implemented a series of strategic activities aimed at empowering youth workers and engaging young people in anti-corruption monitoring. The project hosted three transnational staff meetings to ensure smooth coordination and effective sharing of best practices across borders. The cooperative work of eight associations created two main digital tools: an online educational path on integrity and two digital escape games, which are available in seven languages to ensure broad accessibility. These resources were piloted during two Transnational Digital Trainings and further refined based on the collected feedback. Additionally, six local training sessions for youth workers were held in participating countries, alongside a virtual Multiplier Event to extend the project's impact. These activities provided youth workers with practical, user-friendly tools, fostering skills in digital education and civic engagement. MoMoEU!’s innovative methods ensured that all outputs were highly interactive, making complex topics like corruption prevention accessible and engaging for young audiences.<< Results >>MoMoEU! produced two main impactful outputs: the digital educational path and two interactive escape games, focused on integrity education and community monitoring. These tools, accessible in multiple languages, empower youth workers to engage young people in meaningful discussions on transparency and accountability. The digital escape games allow youth to explore anti-corruption strategies in an immersive format, while the educational path provides step-by-step guidance on community monitoring. The project results have a tangible impact on youth workers’ capacities to foster digital citizenship and civic responsibility among young Europeans. Additionally, MoMoEU's resources promote inclusivity by being accessible online and adaptable for diverse learning environments. The project’s success in enhancing digital literacy and civic awareness among youth provides a sustainable framework for future anti-corruption initiatives, making it a valuable asset for promoting democratic values across Europe."
