<< Objectives >>Through this project, the partners aim to equip young migrants with practical sewing and tailoring skills, supporting their economic independence and employability. They also seek to strengthen the capacity of young professionals to deliver culturally adaptable training, empowering them to support diverse learners more effectively. By doing so, THREAD promotes social inclusion, active citizenship, and sustainable practices, ensuring a lasting impact on participants and their communities.<< Implementation >>The partners will implement a series of activities, including research, toolkit creation, training, a fashion showcase, and dissemination strategy to promote the project across Cyprus, Greece, and the EU. They will conduct primary and secondary research to inform the creation of a Toolkit for Sewing, Tailoring, and Inclusive Training. The Toolkit will be used in practical training for migrants and capacity-building for professionals, following an event to present the participants' achievements.<< Results >>The partners expect the project to result in 50 young migrants gaining practical sewing and tailoring skills and 30 young professionals being equipped with inclusive and up-to-date teaching methodologies. A comprehensive Toolkit will function as a long-term resource for both groups. Overall, the project will contribute to a more inclusive society by supporting young migrants in overcoming barriers to education and employment.
