<< Background >>Chakras KA2 is a follow-up of KA1 youth exchange focused on the well-being of youth. The project highlighted a great need to take care of the well-being of youth, and teach them effective strategies on self-care. Yet, it is not only youth, but also youth workers who are in need of those strategies. As youth workers, we experience everyday the transformative energy that nonformal education holds. With non formal education tools, we create safe spaces in order for people to connect with each other and most importantly with themselves. Non Formal education makes use of holistic and experiential methods that aim to move the learner’s body, mind and emotions, and thus self-reflection and self-development are key (https://bit.ly/3SxwfFU). Our project was born from this intersection: the need of youth to reconnect with themselves after a long period of disconnection during COVID-19, the usage of digital devices for wellness purposes and the ability of accessible non formal education methods to fulfil the aforementioned purpose, the importance of which got more emphasised during our KA1 project implementation. << Objectives >>The aim of our project was to increase the wellbeing of youth through the creation & promotion of a selfcare app called Hope, created from international experiences & non-formal education. The aim was achieved through:-an international research on the needs-the sharing of non-formal methods on self care within youth workers-the creation of a beta & a final version of app including the methods-the training of youth workers on the usage of the app<< Implementation >>The project included the following activities:1- one project management activity2- one kickoff meeting3- one activity dedicated to the identification of effective self-care tools at local level4- one activity dedicated at the definition of online self-care tools and development of the App 5- one activity dedicated to the sustainability of the app, including training activities on the App for a major number of youth workers.<< Results >>The project had the following results:-an international research on the needs of young people between 13 and 30 years old related to their daily wellbeing and the impact of digitalisation-a list of methods to support young people to achieve self-care online and offline-the realisation of a self-care app that will include the aforementioned methods-the long term sustainability of the app through the creation of a digital community
