<< Objectives >>The lack of education in sustainability determined us to apply for the project. The aim is to build the capacity of teachers and students for competencies for sustainability. Besides acquiring knowledge and understanding of sustainability, for this competence, S&T will acquire practical skills (DIY), adopt new sustainable habits, and have opportunities to practice them on a daily basis. Moreover, students and teachers will become leaders in promoting sustainability in schools and communities.<< Implementation >>Courses for teachers; Learning activities for participants to gain knowledge and understanding on Responsible Production and Consumption, to acquire skills related to sustainable practices; Setting up a workspace in each organization where participants will have the opportunity to carry out hand-on activities, give waste a new life, mend and repurpose items and objects; Learning activities for campaigns and real life campaigns to experience civic engagement in their communities.<< Results >>Competency for Responsible production and consumption for participants (knowledge, understanding, skills, practice); Change of attitudes and new habits for teachers, students, families, schools, and communities; Campaigns for raising awareness, adopting sustainable habits, and advocating for changes; Plans for activities about sustainable development; Digitals skills for creating effective campaigns, DIY workspaces, e-books (How to led a campaign, create objects from waste, comic book); etc.
