<< Background >>The project was a response to the needs of people struggling with the negative effects of the pandemic. Many of them had to limit social contacts, adapt to new ways of performing professional work, and struggled with stress due to their own illness, the illness of loved ones, and often also the loss of them. The organizations participating in this project, based on the research conducted, jointly developed a solution addressed to all adults, especially people aged 50+, seeking support in regaining their physical and mental well-being. For this purpose, we used a medium that has become an irrevocable element of our lives - the Internet. As part of this project, we have created an online platform in 6 languages as part of open educational resources. The tool is a response to the needs of many adults, especially people aged 50+, who are struggling with the negative effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. The platform is intended to reach a huge number of people with forms of non-formal education who have not been able to use it due to limitations - e.g. geographical or financial - so far. The project has the potential to contribute to the inclusion of many people in non-vocational, non-formal adult education.<< Objectives >>Through the implementation of the project, we wanted to create a tool - an online platform and reach our target group: adults, especially people aged 50+, who feel the negative effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. We intended to develop, test and put into use an online multi-tool that:- it will allow us to respond to the needs of adults affected by the negative effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, diagnosed today and diagnosed in the future, and in particular to provide this group of recipients with real help in improving their mental and physical condition,- it will allow for a significant increase in the number of people with fewer opportunities who will benefit from non-vocational, non-formal adult education in the countries participating in this project, and in the longer term - also in other countries.Through the implementation of the project, we also wanted to develop the skills of adult education staff in our organizations, increase the potential and importance of our institutions, develop our potential for international cooperation and develop a network of partners conducting non-vocational adult education.<< Implementation >>The project implemented:1/ in each organization participating in the project, classes were held for 6 semesters in a mixed mode 2/ by conducting the above courses, adult educators were able to gain experience in conducting classes in the blended learning model3/we have created 10 e-learning courses for self-education by the listener4/we built an online platform, posting functions and content in accordance with the assumptions 5/At the beginning of the 6th semester, we organized an event in each participating organization to disseminate the project result, i.e. the platform.6/we put the platform into wide use in the sixth semester of the project - after the conferences7/ we collected feedback from platform users, made corrections and at the end of the project, we released the final form of the platform for wide use as part of open educational resources, with an open license enabling the general public to use, reuse and adapt these resources and share them, with the possibility of developing subsequent language versions,8/after the project is completed - we use and will continue to use the platform to conduct classes, supplementing it with further results created by our organizations, and more<< Results >>The specific effects and results of the project include:1/improving the mental and physical well-being of people, especially those aged 50+, struggling with the negative effects of the pandemic2/involving adults in non-formal, non-vocational education and awakening their willingness to use this form of development throughout their lives3/ creating new education channels - using not only e-learning, but also blended learning - inclusion of people with fewer opportunities 4/ creating a tool to support adults in returning/starting education and improving their quality of life after the COVID-19 pandemic.5/ regular use of the platform by thousands of adults in each of the following countries: Poland, Slovakia, Latvia, Portugal, Turkey.6/ creating 10 courses based on online self-education,7/ creating a channel with various tips,8/ created tools for participating in e-learning/blended learning,9/ creating a library of Internet addresses providing free online access to: cultural events , works of culture, meetings of interest groups, support groups, etc.10/ developing new competences of adult education staff in our organizations, and more
