MATHESIS-G: Mathematics and Teaching for a Gender-Sensitive Approach

<< Objectives >>Mathesis-G aims to strengthen the capacity of partner organisations in addressing the gender gap in STEM, with a specific focus on mathematics. Specific objectives:1) Enhance teachers’ didactic and pedagogical skills for gender-sensitive mathematics teaching.2) Promote meaningful and inclusive mathematical learning through Student Participatory Curriculum Design.3) Strengthen transnational and cross-sector collaboration among partners.<< Implementation >>WP1 includes the training of 20 teachers, the mapping of teaching practices, and the co-design of an interdisciplinary, gender-sensitive mathematics curriculum with 100 students. Through Student Voice, students will identify barriers and co-develop inclusive learning solutions.WP2 will pilot the curriculum in partner schools, gather feedback through Digital Learning Stories, and analyse it in a Participatory Analysis Lab to ensure adaptability and sustainability.<< Results >>Gender-sensitive mathematics curriculum with five interdisciplinary Learning Units (UDA) of eight hours each, integrating innovative teaching tools and active methodologies.Methodological framework to support teachers in Participatory Curriculum Design.Digital Learning Stories to document experiences during the pilot test.Guidelines for the implementation, replicability, and sustainability of the curriculum. Two final events, two workshops, and four info-training events including exhibitions
