The Game Changer

<< Objectives >>The Game Changer aims to combat online abuse and toxicity, enhance digital rights and promote youth well-being through international collaboration and exchange of best practices. The project seeks to empower youth, engage policymakers and strengthen democratic participation through innovative strategies and cross-sector partnerships. The ultimate goal is to create sustainable outcomes with a lasting impact on online abuse prevention while promoting positive digital experiences for youth.<< Implementation >>The Game Changer project includes creating a comprehensive Encyclopaedia of Digital Rights and Safety, forming a Nordic Digital Youth Embassy, establishing Digital Youth Ambassadors, conducting training seminars, crafting a detailed framework, producing a final report, and facilitating dialogues between youth and policymakers/platforms. These activities aim to lead Nordic countries in digital youth work, combat online toxicity and enhance the safety and well-being of youth online.<< Results >>In a polarized world of increasing echo chambers and digital isolation, the Game Changer seeks to break the mold and build bridges through international exchanges and collaboration, cataloging and leveraging the successful initiatives in our respective countries to improve our collective digital experience, while equipping and empowering youth with tools and influence to make the internet a place where they can flourish in work, play and democratic participation.
