<< Background >>We applied for this project due to the severe impact the COVID-19 pandemic has had on the labor market globally, including our countries. According to the International Labour Organization, global employment saw a significant decline in 2020, with youth employment falling by 8.7 percent and adult employment by 3.6 percent. Despite improvements in COVID-19 situations, the labor market continues to suffer due to ongoing economic and educational disruptions.This situation highlighted the need for accessible and effective online skill development. Many individuals struggle to find reliable online resources to enhance their knowledge, improve their skills, and increase their employability.To address these needs, created an online handbook that consolidates educational opportunities in a user-friendly space. The handbook is very accessible and has detailed information that will assist in job selection and hunting. The main need that we have addressed is offering substantial resources to adults on the job market. The handbook will facilitate easy access to essential skills and knowledge, benefiting both young people and adults, and ultimately helping to reduce unemployment in our community.<< Objectives >>Our goal in implementing this project is to address the longstanding struggle in the labor market, particularly in our partner countries, where finding properly qualified staff and motivating young people to stay in the educational system has been challenging. The COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated these issues, making it nearly impossible for organizations to provide staff with the necessary qualifications, especially for adults facing technological disadvantages.With educational centers closed and limited access to online resources, these individuals are in a precarious situation, impacting both the local and European economies.The project has improved access to high-quality learning opportunities for adults by better utilizing existing resources. We created a comprehensive handbook that consolidates all possibilities for online training, self-education, and qualification. The handbook also provides guidelines on creating CVs and for the younger adults, career orientation help. By offering a professional orientation test and a series of training and events, we hope to create upskilling pathways, improve accessibility, and increase the uptake of adult education.<< Implementation >>In the HTTP Education Project, we implemented several key activities aimed at enhancing self-education, development, and qualification at both local and international levels. Our primary activity was the creation of a comprehensive handbook that consolidates all online opportunities for learning and skill development. This handbook is designed to serve as a reliable resource for individuals seeking to grow their competencies.The handbook includes a professional orientation test to help users identify suitable careers. It also provides detailed instructions on how to create a professional CV, ensuring that individuals can present their qualifications effectively. The handbook offers thorough explanations on how to utilize various e-learning platforms to achieve high levels of qualification.One of the main activities that we initially undervalued was the international online seminar which we did with experts from our organizations and other countries. The event was a resounding success and it was later decided that it would be posted on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gC5nkk-cimsThrough these activities, our project created upskilling pathways, improved access to education, and increased the adoption of online learning<< Results >>The concrete outputs of our project include the creation and dissemination of a comprehensive handbook designed to reach as many individuals in our target group as possible. This handbook consolidates verified information on online opportunities for self-education, development, and qualification. It includes a professional orientation test, guidance on creating a professional CV, and detailed instructions on using various e-learning platforms to achieve high qualifications.We expect the handbook to positively impact the long-term self-education and development of our target group. By showcasing the endless possibilities available for professional and educational growth, we aim to motivate more individuals to invest in their development. The other major activity was the online seminars with experts from our organizations. It spanned two days and included many additional topics like motivation, discipline, personal development as well as career guidance from an international corporate expert. Overall, our project aims to enhance access to education, promote continuous learning, and support the professional growth of individuals, ultimately contributing to a more skilled and adaptable workforce.
