<< Background >>The main reason was our long-term support for the development of sport and physical activities for young people with all types of disabilities who play sports at an amateur level or even do not sports at all. In the sport of boccia, we have a number of long-standing international partner organisations with whom we have discussed the issue of boccia development and we have agreed that there is a general lack of a professional supply of free and quality information from which not only sports clubs, but especially leisure, educational or therapeutic facilities that can offer this sport to their clients, whether as a form of post-injury therapy, leisure activity or inclusion, could draw. The project focused on youth because of its importance. To shape them, to provide them with a social group background, to bring them among new friends thanks to the inclusive nature of sport and, in rare cases, to start them on the path of a professional athlete. Our biggest impetus has been the lack of equipment, the lack of good information (especially for those working with and educating the target group) and also the personal exchange of experiences, as this is something that has the greatest added value across all activities.<< Objectives >>We wanted to achieve a closer connection between organizations and sports clubs focusing on and working with youth with disabilities and to achieve mutual international cooperation in the development of an inclusive form of this sport. This is the only way to achieve long-term development and support across European countries, exchange of knowledge and know-how. Furthermore, we wanted to equip individual NGO with basic sports equipment, which will enable those who cannot afford the equipment to start playing the sport and enable the organizations to present the sport in schools, workshops, etc. We consider education to be key and therefore we set as a goal to connect with experts in various fields that generally affect the world of physical activity, sport, the NGO sector and youth work. The aim was to educate those who work with youth and provide them with much needed knowhow. The final goal was to summarize everything in a guidebook that would be freely accessible to all. The aim is to disseminate the knowledge gained without exception. Thus, the project as a whole has been developed with specific objectives and activities that have an impact not only on specific individuals but also on the general public working in the sector.<< Implementation >>The first activity was international partner meeting to introduce the organisations and their activities to each other, to establish personal contact with the representatives, to discuss the actual content of the project so that the activities could be adapted as much as possible to the actual needs of the individual partners. An important point was the handover of sports equipment to all partners. Other activities were a series of 8 webinars. Their content, the individual experts and the targeting was developed in cooperation with all partners. The aim was to set out 8 basic topics, to bring the best experts on the individual webinars topics and to preserve the know-how through the recordings of the webinars so that everyone can draw on them in the future. Important activities were also two workshops, which focused on practical knowledge of the boccia and theoretical in the field of organizing and conducting sports events, promotion and marketing. All with the aim of educating the partners and their colleagues, staff and other individuals who apply the knowledge gained in their work with youth with disabilities who also attended the workshops. All the know-how gained is summarized in a guidebook, links for webinars are included.<< Results >>We were able to provide quality equipment for each partner and hand them over during the international meeting. The meeting led to the strengthening of relationships and ensured the smooth running of the project. We achieved a great success in organising a series of webinars where we achieved the participation of international experts from different European countries. These were university professors, experts from the field, Paralympians and the information obtained is of great value and is a deep know how. The participation of these experts reached the professional level. We were especially grateful for the way these speakers appreciated the whole project and its added value. We also achieved a great success in the workshops, with Paralympians and youth coaching experts participating as experts in the practical workshop, and organizers of major international sports inclusion events participating in the theoretical workshop. The final output of the project in the form of a guidebook achieves a high value, mainly due to the combination of know-how, graphic output and overall good readability. To be environmentally friendly, we provided everything we could in electronic form and kept printouts and waste to a minimum.
