<< Objectives >>The objectives of the project are threefold: firstly, to empower youth to become proactive agents of change by equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to address environmental challenges effectively. Secondly, to showcase and promote sustainable practices in both urban and rural settings, thereby encouraging participants to adopt eco-friendly behaviors in their daily lives. Lastly, to cultivate a sense of active citizenship and environmental stewardship among the youth.<< Implementation >>The implementation plan for Re-Forage revolves around three core activities: Discover, Experiment, and Apply Sustainable Practices. Discovery will occur in Sweden at the RELEARN Suderbyn Ecovillage, focusing on behavior change actions in a rural setting. Experimentation will take place in Denmark, where positive actions will be tested. Finally, sustainable behavior learning will be applied through leadership, mentoring, and a final event to share the insights gained.<< Results >>We anticipate the following results from the Re-Forage project: increased awareness and adoption of sustainable practices among youth workers in both urban and rural environments; development of innovative solutions to environmental challenges; empowerment of participants to become sustainability leaders; dissemination of project outcomes through various channels; and establishment of a supportive network for ongoing collaboration and knowledge exchange.
