Therapeutic Gardens

<< Background >>We applied for this project because we wanted to strengthen the methods of garden therapy, to share experiences, to support learning opportunities for the target group, to introduce garden therapy to Serbia, to restore some gardens for therapy in the partner countries, to develop the topic of green care together with increasing adult education. and community development. Our goals and needs were also to strengthen international cooperation and to create a network of partners who can continue to cooperate and develop the field of green care and garden therapies in the future. << Objectives >>By implementing the project we wanted to achieve the promotion, improvement and development of green care with a focus on garden therapy, well-being, methods in therapeutic gardens, strengthen the training of workers in this field and support the cross-border cooperation. << Implementation >>In the project we implemented activities such as study visits, workshops, experience sharing, networking, creation of educational exhibition and materials. << Results >>Main outputs:- Educative exhibition about therapeutic gardens in 6 languages (printed panels and also E-version)- Workshops connected to the therapeutic gardens in four countries- International partners´ meetings and networking activities in each country- Renewing four therapeutic gardens and promoting the green care in all four countries - Study trips to places with good examples - Czechia (spring), Slovakia (summer), Hungary (autumn), Serbia (autumn)- Informational materials supporting the topic of green care (brochure called magical garden, sharing materials, methods and tools)- last but not least, motivated and empowered representatives of the target group Outputs in numbers:6 versions of the e-exhibition, each containing 11 panels3 study visits (65 participants)7 workshops (135 participants)24 meetings (networking, team of 10 persons)4 therapeutic gardens2 videos with English subtitles1 brochure (info-material) 1 new international team (10 persons) = new strong network1 concrete follow-up activity = project application in Erasmus+, KA210-ADU-210C5B1D. dissemination of the results (conference in CZ; lecture in HU; emailing, online sharing…)
