<< Background >>Our project is to address the impact of environmental problems, especially global warming, which poses a great threat to humanity on climate change, in the context of youth work, and to raise awareness in the field of recycling, alternative energy sources, and strengthening the bond of young people with the environment. Thus, the youth movement will address the environment and climate area as program priorities for the fight against climate change and actively participate in the fight against this problem<< Objectives >>This project primarily aims to increase young people’s awareness of global environmental issues. Other important goals in the project:-Increasing civil society support for environmental policies,-Creating international cooperation between institutions working in the field of environment and youth,-Creating an educational model on ecological literacy,-Increasing the number of ecologically literate people among young people and youth workers,-Having young people participate in activities where they are in touch with nature,-Increasing awareness and use of renewable energy resources,-Increasing the number of users of the Erasmus+ program,-Increasing young people’s awareness of climate change and basic environmental issues,-Conducting long-term studies on environmental protection,-Developing the institutional capacity of our association.<< Implementation >>This project was carried out with 4 transnational mobilities created with different contents in a 16-month period in 2023 and 2024. The first of these mobilities was the project's preparatory meeting and ecological literacy trainer training events held in Sakarya between May 6-11, 2023. In this context, a total of 16 participants, four from each partner country, participated in the determined activities.The second mobility of the project, the recycling mobilization event for combating climate and environmental change awareness, was held in Kavadarci, Macedonia between July 23-28, 2023, with 16 participants, four from all partners.The third mobility of the project, the events themed on supporting young people to benefit from renewable energy sources, were held in Riga, Latvia between March 21-26, 2024, with 16 participants, four from all partners.The last movement of the project was held in Alcala la Real, Spain, between 14-19 June 2024, with 16 participants, four from each partner, with the theme of young people discovering nature.<< Results >>The main tangible outputs of the project were the bulletins published after each activity. All the details of the relevant activity were included in these bulletins.-Training of trainers was provided on ecological literacy.-The knowledge and skills of youth workers and young people on ecological literacy were increased.-The international network of institutions working on environmental protection and ecological balance was developed.-Young people were made aware of issues related to climate change and basic environmental problems.-Young people acquired detailed information on upcycling, recycling and 3R.-Young people carried out practical activities based on 3R.-Young people were made aware of issues related to climate change and basic environmental problems.-Young people who wanted to engage in environmentally friendly activities with their peers were enabled to understand global environmental problems.-Young people acquired a lot of new information on the importance of sustainable energy sources.-Young people had the chance to engage in activities intertwined with nature.-Many young people were introduced to the Erasmus+ program for the first time.-Disadvantaged young people were enabled to benefit from the Erasmus+
