"<< Background >>Gender inequality and several forms of violence against women are increasing all over the world; the objectives of the EU 20-27 Strategy for gender equality - which emphasizes, among its priorities, the need to eradicate gender-based violence and discrimination - are far from being achieved.For this reason it is necessary contribute to transform the culture that produces gender--based discriminations and violence, promoting and spreading pervasive educational processes by adopting the point of view of the women. Indeed, it is necessary to develop specific key competences of women, as well as those of all educators.<< Objectives >>Related to the HORIZONTAL PRIORITY Inclusion and diversity, the GENERAL OBJECTIVE of the project is: “Contribute to eradicate the gender-based discrimination and violence from the point of view of the women who have undergone such phenomena, through inclusive educational processes”Related to the ADU PRIORITY “Creating and promoting learning opportunities among all citizens and generations”, “Creating and promoting learning opportunities/Improving the competences of educators”, the SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES of the project are: A) Co-design (women and educators) an intercultural educational methodology that can be extended to several conditions of social vulnerability B) Identify the transnational network of the partnership for the future developments.<< Implementation >>We have co-designed experimented and validated an innovative educational approach and strategy (Effective, Appropriate, Safe, Inclusive, Intercultural, Intergenerational), to prevent gender-based discriminations and violence. We carried out, involving women with fewer opportunities and educators, to co-design and test methodologies and tools and validate them, in Italy, Malta and Portugal: 3 transnational learning activities; 4 community-based learning activities. 2 Transnational Project Meetings.Throughout the life of the project, educational materials and tools containing the main results, open access, ready to use and transferable, have been created and published. They will be shared within a large European and international network, creating connections with EU networks as WAVE, activists, experts, eg. in Brazil, Cape Verde, USA. << Results >>In two years of collaboration between 3 women-led non-profit organizations from Italy, Malta and Portugal, an innovative and inclusive educational strategy and methodology - to contribute end discriminations and violence against women and girls - has been developed and validated, transferable to other sectors and contexts. Starting from the point of view and experience of 70 women from 18 countries of 4 continents, it addresses women - active citizens, educators and professionals - as agents of change for gender equality within the community.OUTCOMES: Co- design, testing and validation of a learning process that educates women in being ""free from discrimination and violence"" with a focus on the community.OUTPUTS: a series of digital and multilingual/multimedia educational tools to provide learning opportunities for both educators/professionals, and women and girls, in the community “WOMEN WITHOUT BORDERS - FREE FROM DISCRIMINATION AND VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN AND GIRLS”: a) EDU-BOOK; b) EDU-ADVOCACY TOOL; c) VIDEO-ADVOCACY TOOL, e) NHA MAMÃ - A guide of Community social theatre “against obstetric violence”"
