"<< Background >>CGF is an environmental project which aims to create environmental awareness within partners from different part of Europe.Our needs were to compensateour staffs' educational needs, make all staff at our instutitions aware of Eco-School programme,pave the way for school partners enroll Eco-School Programmes and gain ""Green Eco-School flag"" as a result of their successful activities.We wanted to share inspirational stories of our achievements,failures and values,learn from and support each other,increase quality of our work and practices by combining our powers as schools and non-govermental organisation,build the capacity of our organisations working transnationally,make ourselves known at an international level.We thougt that global problems could only be solved acting internationally not only locally or nationally.So we,partners from differnet parts of the world, wanted to cooperate and act together to raise awarness for environmental issues,improve green skills of our students,staffs and other target groups and stakeholders,make water/energy saving tips a part of our daily life habits.We wanted to achieve daily-life changes of the target groups,make them aware of their own responsibility for the environment.<< Objectives >>By implementing this international project,we wanted to achieve:-improve our target groups' awareness about environment & energy&naturel resources during the project-take action against environmental problems-encourage our participants to act together to achieve our goals collaboratively-act to lead a sustainable life-find solutions for reducing waste,polluting air,water and natural resources-make all target gruops realize their own responsibilty towards nature and sustainable growth-establish entrepreneurial cooperation between schools,NGOs and public authorities on local, regional,national andtransnational level-integrate environmental topics into the curriculum & lesson plans-learn to calculate water and carbon footprint-reduce %25 electricty usage and %30 water usage in partner organisations-prepare ecofoot print game and e-book consisiting of information about types of pollution and precautions for living greener& more sustainable life<< Implementation >>We implemented 5 different activities as stated in the application:3 transnational activity,local and virtual activities.For force majeure,we had to replace the first and second activity.(Italian team had some passaport problems).The 1st activity was hold in Italy.We completed there various activities such as information about Green Biotechnology,Bioiversty ,its importance for the sustainable earth,Transportation and its impact on air pollution,sustainable transportation,types of environmentally friendly transport and Calculation of carbon footprint & food miles.The 2nd activity was held in Antalya/Turkiye.We completed activities and workshops about types of waste,types of recycling,the 7R's of Sustainability,importance of recycling for country's economy,country rankings for recycling and the partner country's place in this list,.Waste collection activitiy and workshop about recycling unused objects & composting household waste.The 3rd mobility was in Skopje/North Macedonia.The topics were Natural Water Resources,Water Shortage,Water pollution,Water Saving & tips for reducing water usage.Besides,we created an eTwinning project with the same name of the project,organised local dissemination activities and 3 virtual activities.<< Results >>We created an Eco-foot print game and e-book which includes all project topics and cretaed collaboratively and with the contribution of the students.(Please see at annexes).School partners integrated environmental topics into the curriculum and lesson plans.This contributed to the sustainability of the project results.Students,teachers,parents and all stakeholders raised environmental awareness.Besides we established cooperation between schools,NGOs and public authorities on local, regional,national and transnational level.Our eTwinning project conducted under the mentorship of NGO partner,supported our Erasmus + project and contribute to the achievement of our project's goals and sustainability of our project experiences.School partners will apply for Natioanal and European Quality Label.Also,Italian school applied for Eco-school programme and awarded with Eco-school label and Green flag.But Macedonian school wasn't able to apply for Eco-school because their country isn't a member of Eco-School Programme any more.All partners established rain water harvester in their organisation garden."
