Women@Work_Riconoscere e valorizzare l'apprendimento non formale e informale delle donne

"<< Background >>In the context of an already critical employment situation for women in both Italy and Spain, which had been worsened by the Covid-19 pandemic, the Women@Work project was born out of the realisation that women are 'missing human capital'.The project was therefore designed to enhance the quality and impact of training programs aimed at reintegrating women into the job market. In this general context, therefore, all project actions were planned to: 1) get to know better the training needs of women who want to reintegrate into the labor market, 2) improve the response of IDEA and Piano C aimed at target women, 3) hybridize working methodologies at the international level and enhance the skills of the partner institutions, 4) build tools for evaluating women's learning.<< Objectives >>With the Women@Work project, the partners had 2 main objectives. On the one hand, the partnership was committed to enhancing and strengthening women's skills through service innovation and improved practices in training and re-employment pathways. In order to do an effective job, the target group of IDEA and Piano C activities, i.e. unemployed women, was targeted. On the other hand, another objective was to provide operators and partner organisations with innovative and effective methodological tools, designed on the basis of the needs that emerged from direct contact with women in a labour market that is increasingly digitally oriented and constantly changing. Furthermore, Wo@Wo aimed to develop a common framework to assess and validate the competences acquired in the training courses in order to create training and guidance strategies better suited to respond effectively and timely to the challenges women face in today's labour market. The focus here was more on institutions and working methods, and on the possibility of improving the services offered.<< Implementation >>The Women@Work project involved three-phases:1. Needs Analysis and Research: partners conducted a contextual analysis, engaging stakeholders and the target audience to understand the evolving needs of women in the workforce and the context of workforce digitalization in Italy and Spain. 2. Exchange of Practices, Co-Design, and Testing: Piano C and IDEA Alzira exchanged tools for women's support, co-designed educational contents based on needs that emerged in the mapping phase and created ""tools for women's empowerment in the digital era."" This phase aimed to raise awareness of important job skills such as Growth Mindset, Work-Life Synergy, Adaptability and Digital Empowerment. All the tools were tested by partners.3. Evaluation Set Construction: Partners developed a self-assessment framework for each module designed in WP2 in order to monitor the improvements after training.<< Results >>1 map of women's training needs in the digital era completed, validated and translated into 3 languages (EN, IT, ES)2 events presenting the map, 1 in Italy and 1 in Spain 4 modules for the accompaniment of women's re-employment in 3 languages (EN, IT, ES). 1 module for the following skills a) need for digitalisation, b) adaptability, c) growth midnset, d) ability to create work-life synergy.
