Youth Queerators

<< Objectives >>Our project aims to empower local youth, queer and allies, through artivism. We aim to provide a platform for self-expression, cultivating self-confidence and artistic expression, creating and curating content that resonates with the causes close to their hearts. Engaging in various art forms, we aim to amplify their voices, enabling them to advocate for these important causes, fostering a sense of agency and activism.<< Implementation >>We have created a number of local artistic workshops and activities, besides online check-ins, with youth trainings (combining elements of a study visit and a training) exchanged between countries. These activities will culminate in a mini-festival in each country, securing the dissemination of knowledge and experiences to the broader community, while promoting a sense of shared understanding and collaboration.<< Results >>Anticipated outcomes include an expanded artistic toolbox of both organisations and participants, increased engagement in artivism, and strengthened sense of community solidarity. Beyond the project, we envision a lasting impact, inspiring ongoing initiatives and partnerships. The project will produce a number of materials: audiovisual content, theatre plays, visual creations like zines and posters, which will be utilised within and beyond the project, amplifying its reach and impact.
