"<< Background >>The PAL SOUND project tended to combine the Romani race with the music sector, aiming to promote their social inclusion through its actions, and promote the positive narrative of their history, traditions, and customs. As Romani music narrate their history, romantic events, and customs, PAL SOUND project intended to enhance social equity, progression, education, and the formation of a network to support vulnerable and marginalized Romani musicians, with the immediate goal of acquainting them with newfound knowledge, training them, and promote their collaboration and co-creation.The project's ultimate mission was to assist the social inclusion of Romani musicians who face exclusion and the disadvantage of being a member of a minority group. The project is geared toward their personal and professional empowerment using creativity, independent thought, and upskilling in music industry, highlighting their positive narrative of their history.
