"<< Background >>The ""SAB"" project was ATEna's first international partnership cooperation Erasmus+ project. The implementation was based on the defined needs of the target groups. : development and strengthening of the staff of the partnership institution (also senior), and the internationalization of both institutions. ATEna wanted to acquire the ability to manage international and local work-groups, and both partners wanted to experience multiculturalism, weaken stereotypes and fears of diversity, shorten the distance for seniors to ""abroad"", improove language competences. Both partner institutions reported the need to create joint workshops and expand educational offers for their target groups, seniors, who in both institutions have become the main recipients of activities in recent years. One of the needs reported by seniors was to manage their time in accordance with the idea of lifelong education. We also wanted to meet the needs of the educational staff of both institutions related to improving the use of a foreign/English language, expanding cultural experiences, using existing competences and acquiring new ones - useful for working with seniors.<< Objectives >>By Implementing the project, we wanted to develop and raise the international profile of the partnership institutions, improve the quality of work and competences of the staff of both institutions, support local senior groups and create a new educational offer for them. We also wanted to: strengthen the activities of partners in local environments; list senior education good practices; enrich educational offers for seniors by incorporating the project results into the regular activities, promote diversity, involve excluded old people in active ageing, learn their lifestyles, problems occurred in both countries; create opportunities for intergenerational and international cooperation between seniors and younger people. We wanted to activate at least 20 seniors in order to practice newly-acquired competences, working methods and ideas for classes concerning this pilot group. We wanted to use our existing human resources, the interests of seniors, the desire to both: meet together and find friends, people who would accept them despite their age, dysfunction, health problems and limitations. During the project implementation, we wanted to: improve the competences of10 trainers participate in monitoring visits, improve their English.<< Implementation >>The project included three types of activities: 1. Activities related to the project coordination and management: monitoring and evaluation, dissemination of the results. Creating subpages of the project on the websites of both institutions, development of the logo. Two monitoring visits were carried out, one to each country, in order to establish direct contact with the partner and to specify the planned and implemented activities, their dissemination and evaluation, as well as workshops and meetings with seniors from the country where the visit took place. 2. Activities related to the staff training from both partner institutions along with disseminating them internationally: 4 days of international training for staff [online (Teams Platform) and stationary] was held, multilingual training materials (lesson plans, presentations) were developed. 3. Activities for senior groups: development and pilot implementation of new educational offers (lesson plans and multilingual training materials), conducting 2 online international workshops during which also seniors took place, 6 stationary classes in both countries. 4.
