Collecting Youth Narratives through Participatory Video

<< Objectives >>Through implementing the Voices of Change (VoC) project, we aim to empower young people, particularly those from marginalised and underrepresented backgrounds, to share their stories and perspectives on critical issues like climate change, integration, and social challenges through Participatory Video. In doing so, we aim to bridge the gap between young people's experiences and policymakers, encouraging informed decision-making that reflects the needs and aspirations of the younger generation.<< Implementation >>Through VoC, we aim to: -Develop and deliver participatory video workshops to provide young people with storytelling and digital media skills.-Collect a diverse array of youth narratives on issues like climate change and integration-Organise community screenings and online sharing of these videos to promote dialogue and awareness. -Summarise the impact of our VoC project into national Policy Briefs that will be promoted among policymakers and advocacy groups in Spain, Croatia and Ireland.<< Results >>VoC is expected to yield significant results, including the empowerment of young people through enhanced skills in participatory video and storytelling. We also expect to collect diverse and impactful youth narratives on climate change, integration, and social issues, which will be widely disseminated online and through community screenings, raising awareness and fostering dialogue. Overall, the project aims to promote social inclusion, active citizenship, and a stronger, more cohesive society.
