Beyond the Divide: Effective Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Equitable English Language Teaching

<< Objectives >>BRIDGE-ELT project aims;*to develop English Language teachers’ knowledge, skills, and attitudes toward an equitable&effective use of AI in English Language Teaching*to enhance English language teachers AI literacy and pedagogical skills and digital skills*to increase awareness about equitable and effective use of AI in English language teaching among teachers, policy makers, and broader educational community*to create a professional learning community where teachers can collaboratively work.<< Implementation >>*Needs analysis on English Language Teachers’ knowledge, skills, and attitudes toward an equitable and effective use of AI,*Design and develop MOOC for professional development to enhance English language teachers' AI literacy and pedagogical skills,*Evaluating the effectiveness of the MOOC for professional development on equitable and effective use of AI in English Language Teaching including the resource pack,*Increasing awareness about equitable and effective use of AI in teaching English.<< Results >>Expected results of our project are;*Comparative Needs Assessment Report (International).*Development of Teacher Training AI Integrated MOOC Platform.*Professional Learning Community where teachers can collaboratively work towards identifying and addressing inequalities, biases, and promote more inclusive practices in the context of AI in English language teaching.
