"<< Background >>The phenomenon of job loss in adulthood emerges as one of the most characteristic issues inEU countries. Eurofound analysis (2020) highlights how the Covid-19 pandemic has had a greaterimpact on female workers, as they are employed more in the sectors most affected by the crisis. StatisticsEurostat show that, between April and September 2020, the unemployment rate for women rose from 6.9 per cent to 7.9 per cent, while that of men rose from 6.5% to 7.1%. If gender inequality in the world of work was already a critical issue, now after a global pandemic, it has become an eu priority. the project aims to develop, implement and disseminateof an innovative education model for the target group of long-term unemployed women over 40 forthe acquisition and evaluation of transversal skills. The project promotes new educational methods for female empowerment complementary to the development of soft skills. By developing innovative methodologies and improving women's key competences, innovative learning offers based on the development of soft skills, adapted to their situation, are to be developed<< Objectives >>These innovative experiential methodologies propose to stimulate the activation of soft skills and help motivate learners in the active search for employment (empowerment). The development of these methodologieswill lead to a paradigm shift in pathways for unemployed adults, from a perspective based on the concept of 'employment' (having a job) to one based on the more important and fundamental concept of 'employability', i.e. the ability to find and keep a job.i.e. the ability to find and keep a job that is in line with one's expectations and priorities. In fact, employability indicates the ability of people to be employed or to be able to actively seek, find and keep a job: it therefore refers to the ability to obtain employment (a first or a new job) when necessary, making transitions from a condition of non-employment or from a previous, different employment. Assuming that soft skills cannot be separated from the social and cultural practices in which they are experienced, learnt and/or used, they cannot be thought of as transferable content through lectures. << Implementation >>The project included the following activities: Improvisation theatre training session for training practitioners. An opportunity to experiment with new methodologies and to exchange views among colleagues. Trainers also experimented with the risk and fail methodology, part of the FMEA family. Learning Week : L.W. for orientation and conscious planning of future choices. Innovative, experiential course, carried out outdoors: it allows the participants to ""disconnect"" from everyday life in order to concentrate and focus on the training commitment. Practical tests and group activities between participants foster the development of transversal skills, encouraging problem solving, flexibility and planning. T.P.M. Kick off Meeting : (IT)- Meeting and keep-up on local events : (ES)- Final Meeting: (SW) P.M.: FORMAT guided the administrative and financial activities of the project and verified the development as planned through monitoring activities Local Workshops: Each partner carried out events in their country applying the techniques acquired during the training sessions and collected useful data for monitoring and evaluation.<< Results >>The training activities allowed professionals to share their skills and experiences developed in national contexts. The training days focused on two methodologies: IMPROVISATION THEATRE for the development of soft skills: exercises and techniques from improvisation theatre didactics were proposed. Some basic skills that this discipline develops are: the ability to listen, to be aware of oneself and others, to communicate clearly, to have confidence, to support, to make choices spontaneously. These are all functional skills for the individual in the world of work and team building that need to be developed. The participants shared and experienced the practical moments led by the trainer, alternating them with moments of analysis of the dynamics that emerged in order to activate reflection and transposition of the workshop experience in their own countries. During the RISK AND FAIL activity: the murder party workshop was presented, aimed at getting out of the comfort zone and accepting failure as part of the process, Knowing how to make choices, Experiencing the creative approach to crisis, Recognising opportunities and practising problem solving"
