<< Objectives >>By implementing this project, we aim to raise awareness among older adults about biodiversity loss and inspire them to take concrete actions to address this pressing issue. Specifically, we want to empower participants by enhancing their understanding of the interconnection between human behavior and biodiversity, fostering a sense of responsibility for environmental conservation. Through hands-on Environmental Learning Activities (ELAs) and digital storytelling, we seek to equip older adults w<< Implementation >>This project engages participants aged 60+ in activities enhancing environmental awareness and digital skills. We will implement Environmental Learning Activities (ELAs) to foster understanding of local ecosystems. A Methodology Guide will support these activities, followed by Digital Storytelling workshops where participants create narratives about their experiences. The resulting digital stories will be shared on our project website, promoting community connections and sustainability.<< Results >>The project will lead to increased environmental awareness, concrete actions, and a set of impactful digital stories. It will produce a Methodology Guide to assist trainers, adult education providers, and interested learners in implementing the Environmental Learning Activities in their contexts and adapting them to their specific needs. The digital stories will present participants’ experiences, inspiring others to engage in biodiversity conservation, fostering a stronger sense of community.
