"<< Background >>Our organizations from consortium worked with adults and saw the need for activities connected with conflict resolutions for adults 55+ as they did not exist for a bigger scale. People for whom we prepared activities like 55+ often had small conflicts also during our meetings or complaint not to be understood by others. They also did not know about modern conflict resolution solutions like mediation. We diagnosed the need to improve this situation.<< Objectives >>The aim was: 1. Encouraging local people and our employees 55 + to improve their skills for conflict solving, communication and better know the concept of conflict resolution and mediation. 2. Reducing the knowledge/skills gap between people 55+ and younger generations who have more education on conflict resolution (school, college, Internet) and professional people involved in conflict resolution (like professional mediators) 3. Delivering some solutions and recommendations for further development of the bigger project ""Gento"", submitted recently by our Turkish partner.4.Enabling people 55+ to deal with conflicts in a better way and to play the role of “social mediator” - a person in local society who can help to solve different problems (family, senior clubs, local society) 5. Promoting the idea of mediation as a peaceful method for conflict resolution.<< Implementation >>We conducted the following activities: 1. We organized international and national meetings and workshops with target group local 55+ to explore the subject deeper and propose some recommendations. 2. We activated local communities to be more able to deal with conflicts and practice more dialogue. 3. We developed an E Guide about conflicts with scenarios for conducting local meetings.4. We developed e-learning modules based on the E Guide on Moodle platform. 5. We developed a website for the project to inform a broader audience about the project progress and results. 6. We promoted our project on FB fanpage and on the EPALE platform.<< Results >>1. E Guide presenting theory and practice, concerning conflict resolution in 4 languages (English, Greek, Italian and Polish).2. E-learning modules, guiding through different aspects of conflict resolution, based on the developed E Guide. 3. Foundation for a bigger project of our consortium also with new partners ""GENTO"" (Generations Together), submitted recently by our Turkish partner. 4. Increased awareness, knowledge, interest and skills for conflict resolution among project's target group (adults and partners' employees 55+), confirmed during post-workshop feedback given by attendees. 5. International and multi-cultural experience gained by consortium members, leading to enhanced organizational capabilities."
