EUth: Strengthening Youth and Democracy in Europe

<< Objectives >>The project aims to strengthen European civil society and increase participation of youth. The specific goals are:To create a platform for NGOs from 5 countries to collaborate and share knowledge to strengthen their capacities in empowering youth.To develop civic skills among youth, such as active citizenship and democratic values. To foster European values and a sense of identity among European NGOs and youth, and to develop a common understanding of issues facing Europe.<< Implementation >>These activities help to achieve mentioned goals: NGOs Ideas Hub: 5 face-to-face exchanges and workshops to promote knowledge sharing, capacity building, and innovation among consortium partners.Youth Bridge: 3 international youth exchanges with a Brussels educational visit to develop leadership skills, foster active citizenship, and connect youth with decision-makers.Youth Voice: 25 national workshops to empower young people to take part in democracy and solutions of local/global issues.<< Results >>An e-toolkit featuring best practices from the partner consortium, along with innovative and easy-to-use tools and methods, will be developed to increase youth engagement in civic education.Youth will provide recommendations to European politicians on how to involve them in decision-making processes and how to address topics that are important to them.Youth will create social media content aimed at local and national policymakers, highlighting current issues in Europe and offering solutions.
