Ibero4Jobs - To strengthen higher education institutions in Latin America, in articulation with the business sector promoting the employability of students and contributing to the sustainable growth of the regions

The project called Universities of Ibero-America WeavingTties with the Business Sector - Ibero4Jobs, aims to take advantage of the experience and expertise of the universities so that they transfer their methodologies of articulation with the business sector to the partner universities. The purpose is to improve the employability of their professionals, and thus; contribute to the sustainable growth of the region by complementing and strengthening the current capacities of the institutions and the actions carried to achieve the objective.In this way, the partner universities will strengthen their capacities and adopt this knowledge to develop their own strategies for connecting with the business sector to generate more employment and also to foster the entrepreneurial spirit in new professionals. Business competitiveness will be one of the results of this alliance, which will be reinforced with the participation of the associations and foundations that have joined the consortium.This project considers the implementation of a pilot program that will allow validation and feedback of the developed methodologies, which will be scaled internally within each partner HEI and in turn transferred to other HEIs in the region.The sustainability of the project will be guaranteed through the creation of an Ibero-American Professional Employment Network, an interdisciplinary and intercultural network that will include all the members of the consortium and that will integrate new universities that have the same purpose
