Strategic Actions For Early-school-leaving Reduction

<< Objectives >>Our objective is to reduce the rate of early school leaving among students by providing extra support and innovative teaching methods. Hence, we will improve the quality of education and teaching practices in the participating schools by sharing good practices and innovative approaches to teaching and learning. Lastly, we will also promote cooperation and exchange of good practices among schools from different countries to the development of a European dimension in education.<< Implementation >>We started by conducting a needs assessment to identify the causes and risk factors for early school leaving in each partner country, as well as the needs and strengths of the target group. Through this project we will be training teachers and educators by providing them with training on how to identify and support at-risk students, as well as how to use innovative teaching methods to engage and motivate students to lesson early school leaving. << Results >>The most important result that is expected from this project is that students that tend to leave school at an early age, without obtaining any form of certification, will continue with their studies in a subject that they really like. These results can only be achieved if the teachers find out and create tools to motivate students under their care. If everyone concerned do his part, we will not only achieve the desired results but every country will also have a better labour force.
