<< Background >> The whole team had made the same observation : environmental problems threatens our world and makes it vulnerable. We believed and still believe as teachers that we have a great responsibility in terms of preventing global warming. And, we agreed to say that informing and educate on global warming was essential and becoming urgent.Besides, it was necessary to implement a green policy into our respective schools and involve the wole school community ( students, teachers and the staff as well) and family about climate change. Moreover, we believed that belonging to a transnational team was important because climate issue does not concern one country, but Europe and even the whole world. So, through our project we intended to reinforce or to develop a policy on the issue.<< Objectives >>We wanted to raise awareness to nature, to have more than basic knowledge on global warming and to encourage students ( as well as grown-ups ) to react and to act and also be able to identify and find solutions to problems related to nature. At the end of the project, students and teachers have developped awareness on the countries’ respective issues : climate change, water footprint and carbon footprint, recycling and upcycling, zero waste and green consumption, and on natural disaster. Our goal was to inform and warn on natural disasters, know how to prevent them and how to protect oneselves. One of our target was also to be an environmental friendly consummers by recycling or upcycling, reduce our carbon / water footprint and reduce our waste..<< Implementation >>For each mobility, our goal was to propose activities leading to reflexions. We wanted to organize tangible activities that could be used in our classes. Each mobility had the same pattern : a cultural, historical discovery and an immersion with a focus on the issue. In Croatia ( Natural Disaster. ), a visit in a park enabled us to see the consequences of flood, a conference reinforced our understanding. In Turkiye,( water and carbon footprint) with the conference of a university teacher and of an environmental engineer, we benefited from specialists’ point of view inciting us to questions ourselves ( students and teachers as well ) on our consumption and we tried to find solutions to lower our water/ carbon footprint. All visits enabled us to notice the consequences of climate change, alarmed us on the consequences of man’s excessive activities. On the whole the mobilities presented ecological issues and offered alternatives to handle the problem. Thus, in Finland a seminar on the consummer’s role permitted us to think over our individual behaviour. In France, recycling companies invited us to change our behaviour. In Portugal, among other things we symbolically planted a tree. On the whole, we have been active participants.<< Results >>As can be seen in our padlet we shared lessons. Beyond this central activty, the mobilities allowed us not to be mere teachers but also witnesses of real issues. Our experiences in our partners’ contries enabled us to give concrete examples to our students and to avoid those ready-made documents that we can find in school books. We have been able to present the issues not only as teachers but as witnesses. Thanks to our project we acquired an individual and collective awareness of the European territory. We are no longer aware of climate issue at a small scale, as we discovered and exchanged about our partners’ different actions. The project encouraged us to share our experiences through different means : the creation of an etwinning project linked to our project, the participation of a challenged created by the regional administration of one our country, meetings, the inscription in eco school, As a result, we changed and develop our school environmental policy by creating plans and new objectives. Now our aim is to further our project. All the changes can be discovered in the partners’ results of the project in the padlet : https://padlet.com/erasmuspad2023/erasmuspadlet-time-to-make-peace-with-nature-aoul6de99ff3b34
