Data Literacy for Vocational Education

<< Objectives >>To:identify the data literacy needs of teachers/ trainers promote a basic algorithm & a math ability towards to statistic notionsanalyze metadataevaluate decisions or solutions based on dataget engaged with specific softwares concerning data literacy deliver a toolkit that comprises game-based resources & the facilitators guidelines manualcultivate critical thinking, ethical use of data, democratic participation, European citizenship awareness & respect for the environment.<< Implementation >>Our project will organize and implement 3 Activities: A Data Literacy Raising Awareness Handbook where School teachers, leaders, trainers, & students are going to benefit DLV 6 Video podcasts/ VODCASTS to support target group get data literate (explanations, case studies, expert insights) Moodle platform A DLV Curriculum: Series of modules covering different aspects of DLVData Collection & Data AnalysisData Interpretation & Communication Data Ethics Data Governance Data Visualization<< Results >>--Raising awareness for data & its use & increasing data literacy in EU teachers --Acquiring knowledge & experience upon data for the purposes of a research--Being able to use the proper instruments and softwares --Attribute to the necessity of Data Ethics --Contributing in the environmental sustainability by understanding Data--Contributing to entrepreneurship by offering VET students new job alternatives-Helping teachers/trainers to use student data and create a better curriculum
