Embracing Creativity in STEM with GenAI

<< Objectives >>This project aims to integrate GenAI tools into education to foster creativity and critical thinking among students aged 12-16. It will explore how GenAI can be harnessed to unlock students' creative potential across STEM fields and within a STEAM approach, while encouraging a collaborative and interactive learning environment. The project envisions a transformative learning environment where AI serves as a catalyst for creative expression, preparing students for the future.<< Implementation >>The project will seek to empower teachers by providing them with an Action Plan Kit consisting of lesson plans, activities and resources alongside a suite of relevant and suitable learner-centric GenAI tools and relevant training will be provided.These resources will be co-designed with teachers, based on a research-informed technology framework and STEM curriculum alignment. They will be evaluated in schools with students through iterative and scaling phases of piloting.<< Results >>Results:Technology framework, STEM focused Action Plan Kit including suite of GenAI tools, Teacher Learning resources, Best Practice examples, Scalability guidelines, Educator Community of Practice. Outcomes: By the end of the project, schools will have integrated AI tools that enable students to:- Develop creativity and critical thinking through AI-assisted STEM projects.- Build familiarity with AI cutting-edge technologies, preparing them for future opportunities in a tech-driven world.
