AGRI-NATURE-MENTOR is based on the working consortium of nature conservation, farmer and landowner organisations that are active in the field of education and training and connected through the Eurosite Agriculture Biodiversity and Climate (ABC) Working Group. The project will respond to the need for specifically designed training materials for the project target groups (nature conservationists and farmers) that are adapted to the newest challenges in land management and to the preferred methods of learning of the target groups. By means of co-creating, and guided by Green Academy HAS, the consortium will design a training programme on land management that is based on peer-to-peer learning methods. During the project, train-the-mentor modules will be designed for the mentors addressing mentoring skills, handling mutual (cross-sectoral) understanding and organising knowledge exchange. The consortium will provide expertise and training materials to the mentors / project target group on the most challenging aspects in land management in the context of the climate and biodiversity crisis. The train-the-mentor modules and provided training materials for peer to peer learning sessions will be tested in four partner countries that have been selected based on the geographic criteria, applicability of topics and on the experience of the organisations that will test the training modules. After the testing stage, the training programme will be openly available on a range of platforms, such as the Eurosite resource website, HAS University of Applied Sciences website, and EU Farm Book. The use of the training programme will be ensured by the project participants within their networks. The project consortium will be strengthened and expanded as a result of the project, and will continue the updating of the training programme for mentors and developing new training modules after the project ends.
