Study focused on integrated system for predicting pollution impact of coastal waters in the Adriatic bay using atmospheric, ocean, and dispersion models

The main objective of this project between the scientists from the University of Split and the University of Belgrade is to create a joint study as a basis for future project proposals in the field of environmental protection. The focus of the study is on the development of an integrated system consisting of a dispersion module integrated with the coupled atmosphere-sea model in the application of pollution estimates and predictions in relation to EU and national regulations. This study will directly assist relevant local and regional level bodies responsible for implementing the Water Framework Directive and the Marine Strategy Framework Directive. This type of research is in line with S3 in TPP2 "Energy and Sustainable Environment" and PTPP2 "Ecologically Acceptable Technology, Equipment and Advanced Materials".
