Research and development activities at Thermo Fisher Scientific Brno s.r.o.

The main goal of the project is to research and develop functional and unique prototypes of electron microscopes. To achieve this goal, a research and development team composed of employees of the company will work for 48 months. The implementation of the project is a follow-up to the applicant's previous activity and is divided into two stages; Experimental development activities will prevail as the project is nearing completion. The subject of implementation of the submitted project are therefore research and development activities leading to the expansion of the product portfolio of FEI Czech Republic, s.r.o. through the creation of functional prototypes of electron microscopes that will be used by the company's customers especially in the field of biological and material research, namely rendering 3D structures and complex molecular complexes in the natural environment of cells and tissues, imaging and testing properties of newly developed materials or nanostructures.
