The ‘blueprint’ of our cells is encoded in the DNA. DNA is packaged by proteins, which together is called chromatin. Chromatin ensures the correct pieces of DNA are being copied. Many research laboratories in The Netherlands study different aspects of chromatin biology, using a wide range of approaches. During the annual Dutch Chromatin Meeting these researchers meet for one day, where world-leading (inter)national speakers and junior scientists share their latest scientific developments. This meeting strengthens interactions in our community and fosters new collaborations, which could lead to new insights into chromatin biology, and its role in disease and therapy development.
