Mind your Manner Adverbials! Our language allows us to verbalize our manners: someone can speak softly, inarticulately or with care. These ‘manner adverbials’ have their own “linguistic manners”. This project aims to understand those manners by examining their internal structure and distributional behaviour, both from a cross-linguistic and cross-dialectal perspective.
