Description
In this project, the researchers developed and investigated a new type of polymer materials, consisting of hydrophobically charged polymers that complex to form plastics held together by charge interactions. This leads to materials that are recyclable and resistant to solvents. Moreover, the materials exhibit an unusual type of glass transition.
